Jarosław, a licensed investment advisor and broker, has over 30 years of experience in global macro and multi-asset strategies. He has held leadership roles at ING PTE, Ipopema TFI, and Quercus TFI, managing Poland’s largest pension fund and advising on billions in AUM.

Professor Grzegorz W. Kołodko

Former Finance Minister and Deputy Prime Minister

A globally cited Polish economist, Grzegorz is the Director of TIGER at Kozminski University. His recent works include Global Consequences of Russia's Invasion of Ukraine (2023) and Political Economy of New Pragmatism (2022). He focuses on global transformation and economics

Renée has 20+ years experience as an economist. Prior to joining EXANTE in 2021, she was a managing editor at The Economist Group, a macro strategist at Societe Generale and a bond fund manager at WestLB. She’s also served as an economist to the UK’s Treasury Committee and Senior Economist/Chief Technical Adviser for the UNDP.

About the Event

The event will commence with a panel discussion where global institutional investors will analyse the shifting dynamics in Europe and worldwide geopolitical shifts, including the repercussions of Trump's second term and the upcoming 2025 presidential elections in Poland on the financial markets.

Following the discussion, we invite attendees to engage in further conversations in the historical setting of the venue, complemented by fine wine and gourmet hors d'oeuvres.

The event will be conducted in English, with simultaneous Polish translation available.

The Venue

EXANTE Horizon will be hosted at the historic Palace on the Isle, located in the Royal Łazienki Park, Warsaw.

Originally built as baroque baths by Prince Stanisław Herakliusz Lubomirski in 1674, this ornately decorated venue was transformed into the neoclassical Palace on the Isle by the end of the 18th century under King Stanisław August.

The third instalment of the EXANTE Horizon series will celebrate the storied tradition of Thursday dinners, historically a nexus for the free exchange of ideas among Polish writers, scientists, and intellectuals.
